He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Parker Jones and Billy Joe Jones; and his brother George Wade Jones. He is survived by: his wife Betty Johnson Jones of Cameron; his sons, Robert Wayne Jones (Trisha) of Milano, Russell Clay Jones (Michelle) of Houston, Michael Fontaine Jones of Austin and James Lance Butt, Jr of Leander; his sister Mary Jones Weaks (Jay) of Temple; his grandchildren, Robert Joshua Jones, Preston Cade Gordon, Lily Kate Jones, Ashley Nicole Jones, Alyssa Jones, Kelsey Michelle Lewallen and Kaleb Allen Butt; and his great grandchild Ryann Parvati Lewallen.
