He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Galvan; his children, Angela Vega (Angie) of Cameron, Sonia Vega-Perez and Richard Vega, Jr. of Cameron; his siblings, Robert Munoz Vega, Sr. of Cameron and Enedina Vega-Montez (Arthur) of Cameron; his sister-in-law Sally Vega; his granddaughter Erika Desirae Campos (Chris Lopez); his great grandchildren, John Ray Torres, Jr., Genavieve Sierra, Selene Torres, Brooklyn Rayne Lopez, Carlee Raelyn Lopez, Destiny Sierra Lopez, Christopher Ray Lopez, Jr., Leonardo De La Garza, Penelope De La Garza, Xitlali Joleen Anaya and Xiadani Martha Anaya; and also Juan Carlos Perez of Cameron.
