She was predeceased by: her parents, Sinia Reeves and Sam Brewer. She is survived by: her son Sam Brewer; her former spouse Sinia Reeves; her daughter Roxane Travis; her husband Lewis Ray Travis; her children, Alison and Christopher K. Travis; her grandchildren, Shiloh Brewer Travis, Bethany Wavelet Travis, Benjamin William B. Travis (Jordi), Jack Witte III (Katherine), Alison Witte and Garrett (Nathan); and her great grandchildren, Alex Prescott, Maya Prescott, Haley Prescott, Jasper Travis, Veda Travis, Lily Garrett and Kora Travis.
Several years later the organization was renamed the Milam County Community Foundation.
