She was predeceased by: her parents, Jo Laywell and Edwin Laywell; and her niece Ashley Richardson. She is survived by: her husband Gary Raesz; her sons, Raesz, Jr. (Laura Raesz) and Cody E. Raesz (Alyssa Raesz); her grandchildren, Henley Raesz, James Raesz and Kendall Raesz; her siblings, Brent Laywell, Della Laywell and Blane Laywell (Lorri Laywell); and her nephews, Jason Laywell (Kari Laywell) and Logan Boyett.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home (2800 N Travis Ave, Cameron, TX 76520). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
