He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence E. Cissna and Josephine Cissna (McClain). He is survived by: his wife Diane Cissna; his stepchildren, Corey Matthew James (Jo) of Cornwall, NY, Chad Andrew James of Needville, TX, Christopher Drew Murray (Christine) of Nashville, TN and Meredith Ann Cannon (Matt) of Dallas; and his siblings, Kenneth Ray Cissna of Bowie and Charlotte Cissna Stark (David) of Lake Jackson. He is also survived by nephews, and Pop and Grandpa by his grandchildren.
