He is survived by: his wife Micaela Ibarra of Cameron; his children, Juan Jose Ibarra and Elizabeth Castillo; and his siblings, Sostenes Ibarra, Mauricio Ibarra and Nativida Amaya of Mexico. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
