He was predeceased by: his parent Jimmie Ernest. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Kay Riggs (Welch) of Cameron; his son Jimmy Riggs of Willis; his stepdaughter Stephanie Lynn Mitchell of Nevada; and his siblings, Kay Riggs of Cameron, Allen Wayne Riggs of North Carolina, Roy Franklin Riggs of North Carolina, Glenn Dale Riggs of Maysfield and Larry Oscar Riggs of North Carolina. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
