We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2024, at the age of 77, James Oscar Chappell Jr. (Cameron, Texas), born in Fort Worth, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Oscar Chappell Sr. and Lola Janette Evangeline Brownlee; his sisters, Patricia Ann Yarbrough and Judy Karen Woodliff; and his son Michael Daniell.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Chappell; his son Brad; his daughter-in-law Acey Chappell; his daughter Angela; his son-in-law Sam Brown; his son Patrick; his daughters-in-law, Tracie Chappell and Aurean Payne; and his pets, Pepper and Twister. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to the Little River Baptist Church or the American Legion in Bryan, Texas.
