He was predeceased by: his parents, G. E. Burnett and Myrtle Burnett (Henry); his spouse Altie "Bonnie" Gill; and his great grandchild Isabella Burnett. He is survived by: his son Mark Burnett of Cameron; his brother Luther Burnett (Shane BurnettGreat); and his grandchildren, Emily Yvonne Burnett, Wyatt Burnett and Carinna Emrick.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home (2800 N Travis Ave, Cameron, TX 76520). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
