She was predeceased by: her parents, Modesto Galarza and Emilia Galarza (Leal); her husband Simon V. Rangel; her sons, Fernando "Fred" Rangel and Nehemias Rangel; and her siblings, Jose Galarza, Belia Cavazos and Ernestina Sanchez.
She is survived by: her children, Simon Rangel, Jr. of Cameron, Gloria Martinez of Cameron, Linda Acosta of Cameron, Esther Cole of Cameron, Rebecca Sanchez of Cameron, Elizabeth Vega of Buckholts, Alice Marie Flores of Hewett, Melissa Sanchez of Cameron and Deborah Shipp of Cameron27. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
