He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt Dubose (Debe) and Christine Pipes; his brother Jerry Pipes; and his brother-in-law James Andrew Thorp. He is survived by: his former wife Judith Sharon Thorp; his wife Judy; his children, Chris (Karen) of Wichita Falls and Dennis (Jason) of Scottsdale, Arizona; his sisters-in-law, Jane Fiore (Mike) of Wichita Falls and Sue Ann Pipes of Fort Worth; his grandchildren, Allee (Trevor Jones) of Edmond, Logan Pipes (Delaney) of Wichita Falls and Riley Pipes of Lubbock, Texas; and his great grandchild Charlotte Grace Pipes.
