He was predeceased by: his parents, Randell Simpson and Lucille Simpson; and his wife Charlotte Ann Taylor Simpson. He is survived by: his brother Mickey Simpson of El Paso, Texas; his son Randell Simpson; his daughter-in-law Maria of Temple; his children, Patti Simpson of Temple, Luci Simpson of Weslaco, Texas and John Michael Simpson; and his son-in-law Mark Leech of Temple. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren.
