He was predeceased by : his parents, Delores Vargas and Miguel Tavarez; and his sisters, Noelia Tavarez of Puerto Rico and Irma Tavarez of Connecticut. He is survived by : his spouse Ramonita Bonilla González; his daughter Ramonita Bonilla González of New York; and his brothers, Armando Tavarez of Puerto Rico, Osvaldo Tavarez of New Jersey and William Tavarez of New York. He is also survived by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hewett-Arney Funeral Home (14 W Barton Ave, Temple, TX 76501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
