It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Gospel Blakes Jr. of Call, Texas, born in Calvert, Texas, who passed away on November 13, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Sr. and Elzada; his brothers, James and Charles; and his grandson Tyrone Dunn.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Blakes; his children, Marion "Net" (Edward), Theresa, Sabrina (Vincent), Sharon, Thomas (Klinda) and Leary (Brande); his sister Gloria Blakes; his sons, Delean Coleman (Yevernette) and Theodore Knatte (Shanterria); and his grandson Eduardo Alvarez. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchild.
