We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2018, at the age of 91, Louvenia George (Call, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Linberg George, Sr.; her siblings, Elnora Semien, Willie Mae Anderson, Francis Fontenot, Linton, Joseph, Solomon and Lincoln McCoy; and her children, Ivory McCoy, Herbert George and Laura Shanklin.
She is survived by: her children, Nathaniel McCoy (Wilda) of Opelousas, Louisiana, Linberg George Jr. (Sharon) of Houston, Texas, LaVern Yelling (Horris) of Missouri City, Texas and Lois Dosia (James) of Houston, Texas; and her sister Melody Kennedy (Hilton). She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren, forty-seven great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
