She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Archie and Elizabeth Archie; her husband Windell McGowan; her son Lee McGowan (Duck); her grandson Jovantai "Tank" Williams; and her siblings, Johnnie Mae Randall, Raymond, Jr., Leo, Ed, Dennis, Phillip, Riley Archie, Hannah Machey, Genera Ross and Yvonne McAdams.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cora McGowan and Linda Williams (William); her grandchildren, Raymond McGowan, LaKeisha McGowan (A. C. Watson) and Donell Williams, Jr. (Alyssa); and her great grandchildren, Xavier McGowan, Jacory Walker and Rayvone McGowan. She is also survived by sister in laws, brother-in-law, cousins, friends, nieces, and nephews.
