Though Jerome Larthie may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jerome Larthie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Gary Mayes; and his grandmother Flossie B. Williams. He is survived by: his mother Wanda Mayes; his brother Gary Mayes; his aunts, Jeantha Williams, Blondelle Williams and Areatha Williams; and his uncle Leo Williams (LaKeshia Williams). He is also survived by one niece, two nephews, and cousins, and a host of wonderful friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fallbrook Church (12512 Walters Rd, Houston, TX 77014). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at the Houston Memorial Gardens (2426 Cullen Blvd, Pearland, TX 77581).
