She was predeceased by: her parents, Finney M. Haddon, Sr. and Ida Waters Johnson Haddon; her husband Julius Rudolph Shmoldas; her siblings, Finney Haddon, Jr. and Edythe Alda Haddon McMahan; and her children-in-law, Lea Wattiez Shmoldas and Edwin A. Gifford.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Edyth Shmoldas Gifford, John Dusan Shmoldas and Sylvia Nell Shmoldas Clair; her son-in-law Theodore Robin Clair; and her half-sister Beatrice Haddon Lissow. She is also survived by six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
