She was predeceased by: her parents, James Peterson and Nettie Peterson; and her sister Willie Mae Kemper. She is survived by: her son Anthony Caesar (Kizzy); her adoptive daughter Shonesha Short; her grandchildren, Derian Caesar and Danae Caesar; her brother-in-law James Kemper Jr.; her nieces, Damita and Pamela; and her nephew Jesse Kemper (Kendria). She is also survived by great nieces, nephew, and other relatives and friends.
