He was predeceased by: his grandson Javier; and his daughter-in-law Yolanda. He is survived by: his wife Anita; and his children, Juan Fernando Martinez (Irma), Joey Martinez, Irma Gomez (Epifanio Jr.) of San Juan, Nancy Hernandez (Jesus) of San Juan, Nelly Lopez (Pete) of Edinburg and Lynda Cortez (Rolando) of McAllen. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
