He is survived by: his wife Irma R. Palacios of McAllen; his children, Ernesto Palacios, III of Austin, Betty Lou Rodriguez (Javier) of Round Rock and Juan David Palacios of McAllen; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Palacios, Zachary Rodriguez, Joshua Palacios, Ryan Rodriguez, Gabriella Palacios and Michael Palacios.
