He is survived by: his wife LaVerne Bretting; his children, Beverly Bellomy (Bill) of Magnolia, Texas, Nathan Bretting (Kim) of LaPorte and James Bretting (Stacy) of Houston, Texas; and his grandchildren, Charles (Michelle), Jennifer, Luna Bellomy, Shelbie Gabrilska, Amy Anatra (Joe), Daniel Bretting (Amy), Natalie Starkey (Travis), Ashley Smith (Caleb) and Meredith Bretting. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.
