He was predeceased by: his brothers-in-law, Michael Pollard and Kevin Pollard (Sherry Pollard); his adoptive parents, Adeline Blalock and Edward Blalock Sr.; his brother Terry Blalock; his mother Dolly Heflin; and his brothers, George Heflin Jr. and Gregory Heflin.

He is survived by: his wife Diane Blalock; his daughters, LaTia Johnson (Lindell Johnson) and Sasha Blalock; his grandson Jase Hale; his siblings-in-law, Geraldine Mills, Debra Pollard, LaTaunya Romanazzi, Kimberly Pollard, LaShawn Austin, Charlie Pollard, Mac Arthur Pollard (Kim Ross), Keith Pollard and Arthur Pollard Jr.; and also Joyce Betts (Gregory Betts Sr.). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
