He was predeceased by: his parents, Dock Henderson, Sr. and Cecil Henderson; his stepson Alvin Baker, Jr.; his siblings, Major McBride, Dorothy Murkeldove, Fannie Hill, Gladys Benton, Alford Henderson, Gloria Love, Willie Henderson, Curtis Henderson, Henrietta Henderson and J. C. Henderson; and his stepdaughter Shedrack.
He is survived by: his wife Olivia Henderson; his children, Lenneth Henderson (Evelyn), Dexter L. Henderson, Davey L. Henderson and LaKenya Henderson; his stepdaughters, Dahl Edwards, Leola Burroughs (Alvin) and Gaye Lewis; and his sisters, Joyce Reed (Gordon) and Jerlene Smith. He is also survived by grandchildren, great - grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Monica Catholic Church (8421 W Montgomery Rd, Houston, TX 77088). A rosary was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Monica Catholic Church (8421 W Montgomery Rd, Houston, TX 77088). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Monica Catholic Church (8421 W Montgomery Rd, Houston, TX 77088).
