He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Ann Roberts; his grandmother Bertha Phillips; and his uncles, Harvel Phillips and William Buddy Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Iselda Roberts; his daughter Adlesi MariAnn Roberts; his father Darrell E. Roberts; his sister Kristi Bass; his siblings-in-law, Imelda and Lupe; and his nephews, Rico and Gatlin Hux.
