As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Charles Lee may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Lee Hornsby and Dorothy Louise Hornsby (Adams). He is survived by: his wife Peggy Lee Hornsby (Underwood) of Alzheimer's Respite; his brother John Hornsby (Pat) of Columbus; his son Gregg Hornsby; his granddaughter Danielle Bou (Vic Bou); and his great grandchildren, Suzy, Alex of Titusville, Florida and Brian Hornsby.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hewett-Arney Funeral Home (14 W Barton Ave, Temple, TX 76501). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery (11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542).
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Alzheimer's Research Association.
