He is survived by: his wife Gloria Ann Balch; his children, Carol (Ernie), James (Tracy) and David (Carl); his grandchildren, Jerrie, Danny (J'Nae), Colt, Chelsea and Christopher (Payton); and his great grandchildren, Jimmy, Caroline and Amelia.

Donations may be made to The American Macular Degeneration Foundation in lieu of flowers.
