It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobbye Jo Smith of Call, Texas, born in Carrollton, Texas, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Hunter and Ruby Hunter (Morris); her son Micah Hill; her siblings, Jerry Hunter, Tommy Hunter, Kenneth Hunter and Doris Hunter; her stepson Ronald Smith; her stepgrandson Daniel Smith; and her stepdaughter Joan Smith.
She is survived by: her husband LaGrand Smith of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; her brothers, Jackie Hunter of Paris, Texas and Mike Hunter of Knoxville, Tennessee; her children, Mark (Vicky Hill) and Janet Anderson of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; her stepson David (Alice Smith); her daughter-in-law Susan Smith; her stepson James Smith; her grandchildren, Henry, Marcia, Penny, Dusty, Jessica, Clay, Cole, Codey, Tonya, Mitchell, Susan, Elizabeth, Kevin, Michel, Kristin, Amber and Crystal; and also Zelma. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives.
