With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvester Charanza of Caldwell, Texas, who passed away on May 5, 2023 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Joe Charanza and Barbara Mae Charanza; his brother Johnny Lawrence Charanza; and his grandparents, John George Charanza, Christina Kazmir Charanza, Lawrence and Minnie Collins.

He is survived by: his sibling Slick; his daughters, Dana Marie Furtado and Erin Leigh Furtado (Romano); his wife Linda Charanza; his grandchildren, Caspian Collier, Salvatore and Mila Romano; his sisters, Barbara Ann Charanza (Pete Saldana) and Gertrude Ann Stifflemire (Cookie); and his nieces and nephews, Bonnie Berlanga, Barbara Joy Harrison (BJ), Paul Harrison, Megan, Kaleb Harrison, Candace Stifflemire, Haley, DJ Cumby, Jenny, Josh Hamilton and Graceē Stifflemire.

The family asks in lieu of flowers that you please make a donation to a cause dear to your heart.
