He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlotte Elizabeth Taylor and W. M. Taylor; his son Robert Wesley Taylor; and his sister Charlotte Ann Simpson. He is survived by: his daughter Tina Elizabeth Spikes (Rickey); his grandchildren, Garrett Taylor Briscoe (Hope Joy Briscoe) and Katelyn Elizabeth Lay; his great grandchild Gracie Ann Briscoe; his pet Lightening; his children, Rod Taylor and Rhonda Kay; his grandchildren, Nikki Pierce (Jonathan), Justin Taylor (Shelby), Jake Taylor and Pete; and his great grandchildren, Teagan and Gemma Pierce.
