She was predeceased by : her parents, Marion Robertson and Lola Robertson; her husband Franklin Chmelar; her son Frankie Joe Chmelar; and her brothers, Marion and Larry Robertson.

She is survived by : her children, Robert Dean Chmelar (Shelly) of Caldwell, Pamela Anne Chmelar of College Station and Mari Lyn Dodd (Craig) of Charlotte, NC; her siblings, John Robertson (Shirley) of Iowa, Donald Robertson (Beverly) of Iowa and Anne Helmich (Jim) of Missouri; and her grandchildren, Pamela Cheatham (Steven), Maelyn Stevenson (Jared), Loren Morse (Burtis), Kristi Chmelar, Kameron Horras and Karsen Dodd. She is also survived by her family and many friends.
