He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Kornegay and Stacy Navratil Kornegay; his sisters, Sammi Ruth and Liz Kornegay Wilson; his nephew Terry Howry; and his brother-in-law Leonard Howry.
He is survived by: his siblings, Susie Howry of Alzheimer's Disease and Charlie Kornegay (Penny); his nieces, Andrea Sartin, Kim Ferrie, Charlette Busing and Nikki Kornegay; and his nephew Chris Kornegay.
