He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Tamplin and Melba Fenner Tamplin of Katy, Texas.; and his brothers, Gary, Larry and Royce.
He is survived by: his brother Rick Tamplin; his children, Justin (Dora Tamplin), Jenifer (Mike Brandhuber) and Jaclyn Walkoviak; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Joseph, Alexus, Brittany, Jarett, Trace and Mica. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
