Gabrial Clayton Matcek Obituary

The passing of Gabrial Clayton Matcek of Caldwell, Texas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 26, 2025 at the age of 92. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Matcek and Sophie Matcek; and his siblings, Leona (Elmer Mitchell), Isabel (Willie Elsik), Frances (Earl Scarborough), Sophie (Johnnie Machann), Frank (Mary Matcek), Jody Matcek and Clinton (Betty Matcek).

He is survived by: his sons, Trevin of Los Angeles and Thane (Autumn); his grandchildren, Ayla, Sayer and Isolde of Round Rock; his son Tyron (Rachel); his grandchildren, Lillian, Tyron, Jr., Trent and Camilla of Caldwell; and his siblings-in-law, Faith Ward of Caldwell and Glenn Carlton (Jean) of Brandon, Florida. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home (404 W Buck St, Caldwell, TX 77836). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 3:15 PM at the Caldwell Masonic Cemetery (1411 W Buck St, Caldwell, TX 77836).
