Charles Franklin Zalmanek Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2023, at the age of 92, Charles Franklin Zalmanek (Caldwell, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph W. Zalmanek and Lydia Sontag Zalmanek; his wife Miriam Norcross Zalmanek; his former wife Jeanie Gibson Zalmanek; his stepson Charles Palermo; his stepdaughter-in-law Kathy Todd Palermo; his brother J. W. Zalmanek; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Zalmanek, Marvin Worthington and Bill Dillard.
He is survived by: his children, Donna (Mike Graul) of Bryan, Sally (Tony Belt) of Bryan, Valerie (John Dockery) of Millican, Texas and Chuck (Wynette Zalmanek Jr.) of Kurten, Texas.; his stepchildren, Kathy (Vince Patranella) of Bryan, Frank Palermo of Bryan and Debbie (Henry Paine) of Denton; his stepdaughter-in-law Janet Palermo Smith of Round Rock, Texas.; his grandchildren, Lance (Meghan Graul) of Bryan, Lane Graul of Houston, Heather Graul of Madrid, Sarah Dockery of Cedar Park, Katy (Nick Stiner) of Franklin, Trey Dockery of Millican, Tyler Belt of Huntsville, Ashley Belt of Bryan and Justin Zalmanek of Dalhart, Texas; and his sisters, JoAnn Worthington and Beverly Dillard of Bryan. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
