He was predeceased by: his parents, Gressie Sr. Toliver and Carrie Lee Toliver. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Stephens, Tajuana Blanton (Melissa) and Melvin Toliver (Jocelyn); and his siblings, Roger Toliver (Luther Mae), Gressie Lee Toliver (Winnie), Terry Toliver (Paula), Wille Toliver, Greenville, Andrew Toliver, Mable Benton (Jessie), Bobbie Toliver, Ora Lee Huey, Irene Stevens and Wanda Toliver. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and family friends.
