He was predeceased by: his parents, Estelle Gladys Reader and Marion Earl Reader; and his brother Harvey M. Reader. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gassman Reader; his children, Gena Reader Black (Michael Scott Black) of Caddo, Jason C. Reader (Melissa Smoot Reader) of Arkansas and Jacob D. Reader (Eva Reader) of Caddo Mills; and his brothers, Jimmy Allison of Plano and Jerry Vaughn (Jewel Vaughn) of Garland. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and their spouses; 5 great grandchildren.
