He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Sampson Allen and Ethel Mariah Ferrell Allen; and his siblings, Leroy, David, Monroe, Vivian, Jeanette and Tillie.
He is survived by: his wife Tina Allen; his sister Imogene Melvin of Jacksonville; his sons, Bruce Allen (Julie) and Glen Allen (Traci); and his grandchildren, Justin Rollings, Emily Highwood (Brandon), Christopher Allen (Alexandra), Shawn Allen (Tesla), Russell Allen (Lindsey) and Mason Allen.
Burial: July 1st at Grove Hill Funeral Home 3920 Samuell Blvd Dallas, TX 75228, In lieu of flowers the family welcomes donations to the music ministry at Vansickle Baptist Church as an expression of sympathy.
