With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clifford Taft Nelson of Caddo Mills, Texas, who passed away on January 4, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nelson and Grace Nelson; and his brothers, George and Brad Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Coddington-Nelson; his children, Laura Mitchell, Brent Sparks of Caddo Mills, TX, Heidi Nelson, P. Ryan Love of Athens, TX, Todd and Amy Nelson of Stoneburg, TX; his siblings, Paul (Mary Ann Nelson) and Joann Lincoln; his grandchildren, Shelby, Hannah, Hayden, Austin and Hallie; and his great grandchildren, Koah, Willow and Layton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lynch Funeral Service (4238 TX-34, Greenville, TX 75402).
