He was predeceased by: his parents, David Farr and Murlene Farr; and his daughter Miranda. He is survived by: his wife Tina; his son Jason Holmes (Michelle); his granddaughters, Brooklynn Farr and Curie Lair; his brother Phil Farr (Mary); and his nephews, Jeff Farr, Brent Farr and Spencer Farr.

The family requests that memorials be made to Texas Oncology at the Lou and Jack Finney Cancer Center in Greenville, Texas.
