He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Ramon Chavira; his wife Ramona Chavira of Cactus; his children, Ramon Isidro Chavira (Gumericinda) of Dumas, Andres Chavira (Aracely Castillo) of Chihuahua, Mario Chavira (Josie Duran) of Dalhart, Rogelio Chavira (Zayra Cruz) of Fort Worth, Armida Chavira (Oscar Orozco) of Chihuahua, Valentina Chavira of El Paso, Maribel Garcia (Ernesto) of Chaparral and Merced Aracely Chavira (Julio Garcia) of Cactus; and his siblings, Marcelino Chavira (Guadalupe) of Dumas, Ramon Chavira (Oralia Lopez) of Chihuahua, Guadalupe Chavira (Francisco Castaneda) of El Paso, Virginia Chavira of Chihuahua, Rosa Chavira of Chihuahua and Elva Chavira (Mercedes Marinelarena) of Chihuahua. He was also cherished by twenty-eight grandchildren and fifty-five great-grandchildren.
