She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Teakell and Emma Teakell; her husband Gordon Holmes; and her brothers, Mac Teakell of Abernathy Texas and Billy Teakell of Wichita Falls.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marsha Beczak of Dallas, Beverly Jenkins of Sun City and Dana Cartledge of Wichita Falls; her grandchildren, Courtney Heathcock and Trace Jenkins; and her sons-in-law, Chris Beczak and Paul Cartledge.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home (316 S Bridge St, Henrietta, TX 76365). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Byers Byers, Texas (309 Washington St, Byers, TX 76357).
