She was predeceased by: her husband John Michael Murphy; her parents, Perry Blount and Mary Lou Williams Blount; and her siblings, Joe Blount, Edca (Louise Blount), Perry Jr. (Pauline Blount), James (Pat Blount), Linda Lovett, Viana West (Henry West) and Virginia Glisson (Billy Glisson).
She is survived by: her sons, Michael John Murphy (Kimberly Murphy) of Burton and James Alden Murphy (Susan Murphy) of Giddings; her grandchildren, Jara Maureen D'Oliver (John D'Oliver) of Leander, James Michael Murphy (Alexis Salinas) of Katy and Juliana Marie Blanchard (Daniel Blanchard) of Cedar Park; her stepgrandsons, Matt Dees (Nicole) of Troy and Michael Dees of Temple; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Robbie, Carter and Araia Dees; and her brother-in-law Bob Lovett of Hamilton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
