It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Chenault of Burton, Texas, born in Navasota, Texas, who passed away on August 11, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Chenault and Christene Konecny Chenault; his son Cory Douglas Chenault; and his brothers, John Chenault and James Wesley Chenault.
He is survived by: his wife Beth Chenault of Burton, TX; his son Jeff; his daughter-in-law Sissy Chenault of Houston, TX; his daughter Dena; his son-in-law David Lakin of Millican, TX; his brother Charley; his sisters-in-law, Betty Chenault of Burton, TX and Polly Chenault of Buchanan Dam, TX; his sister Barbara Wilkes of Burton, TX; and his grandchildren, Colt Chenault (Robin) of Houston, TX, Josh Lakin of Millican, TX and Nathan Lakin of Millican, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
