She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Bethke and Lorena Webernick Bethke; and her husband Dennis Penkert. She is survived by: her daughter Donna; her son-in-law Steve Baker of Alpharetta, Georgia.; her son Darrell R. Penkert of Cypress, Texas.; her grandchildren, Laurel Baker (Scott Skog), Austin Baker and Kelsey Penkert; her great grandchildren, Faith Mathis, Rylee Baker, Whitney Keene and Lainey Keene; her brother Johnny; her sister-in-law Brenda Bethke; her nephew J. W. Bethke; and her parents-in-law, Otto and Elfie Penkert.
