It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Chesley Stevens of Burton, Texas, born in Yoakum, Texas, who passed away on January 22, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sue Ellen Stevens (Butts); his grandchildren, Raine (Robinson), Rickord, Elizabeth Brisco, Martha Brisco, Elodie Robinson, Max Lugo, Samuel Berry Stevens, Bethany Dwyer, Isaac Yuna, Lexi Simpson, Ellen Stevens, Jackson Vick, Gabriella Stevens, Caroline Vick, Chesley Stevens, Stacey Delane Stevens (Youngest Daughter), Chase Hammett and Grand; his pet Bentley; his siblings, Gary (Brother), Brenda Carol Stevens (Sister), Bobbie Lois (Sister), Jamie Ratley, Ricci (Brother), Janice Stevens, Allan Ray (Brother), Stormii Stevens and Elvis Johnston; his mothers, Tina and Kay; his siblings, Larry Smith, Shirley Cox, Kenny Smith, Tina Sue Hawkins, Mark and James Hambright; and also, Bill and Betty Butts. He was also cherished by Nieces & Nephews.

In lieu of funeral flowers, donations can be made for the "Flower Fund", which will comprise of native Texas wildflower seeds to be sown along with Don's ashes.
