He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Rowney; his son Roy James Childress (Rowney); and his great grandchildren, Piper and Parker Richardson. He is survived by: his granddaughters, Brandi Haggerton (Charlie) of Burnet and Jennifer Richardson (Ben) of Burnet; and his great great grandchild Sawyer.
