He is survived by: his wife Shirley Stark Smith; his children, Bobette Lindsey (Bubba), Sherryl Neagle (Mark) and Robert Smith Jr. (Val); his grandchildren, Bridget Longoria (Tony), Douglas Maxwell (Alyssa), Kyleigh Jackson (Nathan Cooper), Cody Maxwell (Ashley), Robert "Trey" Smith and Kenny Smith; and his siblings, Shirley Cheatham (Larry) and Kenneth Smith (Josie). He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
