She was predeceased by: her husband Loron C. Halbert; her parents, Reverend Leslie and Pernia Conditt Johnson; her sisters, Dorothy Brewer, Vera Wurtz and Betty Moore; her brother-in-law Doctor John T. Halbert; and her stepdaughter Linda Mervin.

She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Gattis (Edward Gattis) of Burnet and Joce Dunagan (Earl K. Dunagan) of Burnet, Texas; her stepdaughter Jodie Hembree (Roger); her grandchildren, Bobby Gibson of Katy, Joe Gibson of Austin, Lara Wueste (Ryan) of Burnet, Doctor Kent L. Mitchell (Grace) of Ft. Worth, Steven Dunagan (Ashley) of Burnet, David Dunagan (Donna) of Pflugerville, Lesli Gattis of Marble Falls, Jennifer Hembree of Las Vegas, Tobie Roberts of North Carolina, J. T and Mervin of Martinsville, Texas; and her sister-in-law Wilma Halbert of Beaumont, Texas. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
