He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Rhue Ann House; his wife Dorothy Lowe House; and his son John Gregory House. He is survived by: his children, Linda Gail House and Dwain Blake House; and his grandchildren, Lori Caldwell, Dee Dee Skidmore, Robert Henkes, Holly House and Heather House. He is also survived by five great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
